As a former HS librarian I know all about Graphic Novels but there was a time when I did not. When I first took over the library I was amazed at how often these books were checked out. I made sure our selection was vast and bought as many as I could on ventures to secondhand book stores. Pernille Ripp has an article In Defense of Graphic Novels.
