March Music Madness in Your Language Class

It is almost March and you know what that means!  March Reading Madness.  I do March Reading Madness in the library and I thought this would be a cool idea in Spanish Class (or any other language course).  Below is the bracket for 2016.  To see the website click here.  Have your students listen to a few different songs per class for a week and then they can vote each class and you can post the winner up each day after all your classes vote.  Have fun.

3-D Paper Dissection Models

Dissection, you either love it or hate it.  I just thought I would post another option for some of your science students.  You can buy their 3D cut out models for your students to "dissect".  You can print out a class set or as many as you want from their Teachers Pay Teachers site.  They also include power point   slides with their download.  To see their site click here.  You might want to search around their website as they have many other great ideas.

Grade Proof

Before your students hand in their papers have them get it proofed for spelling, vocabulary and grammar for free by using the free version of Grade Proof.  To see the website click here.

Net Neutrality using the "Whopper"

It might be a bit late but if you are teaching about Net Neutrality in your class, the following Youtube video using The Whopper as an example will demonstrate the Net Neutrality very well. 

History with Tom Richey

I have discussed his website in the past.  To see them click here and here.   He does such a great job that I think I need to point out his website again.  For teachers he posts many power points for history courses for free or very minimal cost.  I am talking $7 for a set of 7 really good power points.  For students and teachers he has some great study guides and videos.  Search around his website and you will NOT be disappointed.  To see his site click here.
