National Reading Campaign Contest
Let your students (or your own kids, or yourself) know that you can win a Kobo ereader.
Just tweet what you’re reading today to @readingcampaign with #whatdidyoureadtoday? for a chance to win one of ten KoboTM eReaders pre-loaded with a selection of great eBooks!
Share a title, author or even the type of reading material you’re reading, like a magazine or graphic novel, newspaper, blog, because all reading matters. The contest runs until December 31, 2012 , so tweet and retweet to all your followers every day: the more tweets, the more you have a chance to win!
We can also win $1000 worth of books for the library. They have designed a simple “What did you read today?” contest kit that allows classrooms to create a vibrant wall or space filled with what their readers are reading, promoting discussion about reading in its many forms. See the attached file. Once you’re happy with your wall, tweet a picture of it to @readingcampaign with #whatdidyoureadtoday? and you’ll be entered in the contest.
If you would like to do this in your class, print out the attachment and post it up in your class or see me in the library as I have photocopied a few of the kits out.
