Phet for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Math Simulations
I have previously posted about this great site that I know at least one of the teachers at my school uses. According to their website, "Founded in 2002 by Nobel Laureate Carl Wieman, the PhET Interactive Simulations project at the University of Colorado Boulder creates free interactive math and science simulations. PhET sims are based on extensive education research and engage students through an intuitive, game-like environment where students learn through exploration and discovery." If you have never tried their site, give it a go by clicking here, hopefully after checking out my amazon.ca ads below. If you are Canadian and making any amazon.ca purchase please click on my links below first as I will get a small commission on anything you buy even if it is something else. Thanks. Namwayut: we are all one. Truth and Reconciliation in Canada
Welcome to October. By mistake I published two posts yesterday. One of them was for today. Oh well. Here is one that I should of put out yesterday but I just saw this video this evening. You can show it to your classes even though it was for Reconciliation Day yesterday. If you are not Canadian but from the US I still think the video is appropriate and it is not long.
