BioDigital - Human Anatomy

best website icon

This interactive 3D tool is a very realistic way to look at the anatomy of the human body.  If you are teaching a science or physical education (Exercise Science)  that looks into human anatomy this might be what you are looking for.  You can login through your google account.  To see the website  click here.  Other similar sites I have looked at can be seen on my other posts by clicking here or here

Body Maps by Healthline

If you are teaching any kind of course that involves human anatomy such as Exercise Science this site could be great for you.

You just select what part of the body or system you want to examine and then can rotate it around.  Both male and female maps are available and they are very anatomically correct.  You may want to discuss this with your class before letting them loose on the computers.  To see the Body Maps website click here.

Biology Reading Days

Mrs Mikos is a high school biology teacher who runs a blog.  She posts about once a month and has some very good ideas.  You might want to look at her website by clicking here.  On her January 18 2016  blog she posted two book lists and a Final Project (it is ongoing through out the year).  Here are the links to her Biology book list, Anatomy & Physiology book list and her final project.

Body Maps

Healthline BodyMaps
At this website you can look at different parts of the human body and rotate them around 360 degrees.  You can also look at a certain area of the body and then just look at the muscles, nerves and vessel or bones.  The different views would be great to use in an Exercise Physiology course that would like at anatomy or any science course that looked anatomy.
Both Male and Female body maps are available.  You may want to know that these maps are very anatomically correct and therefore discuss this with your class before you let them loose in the computer lab.  To see the website click here.
