Body Maps by Healthline

If you are teaching any kind of course that involves human anatomy such as Exercise Science this site could be great for you.

You just select what part of the body or system you want to examine and then can rotate it around.  Both male and female maps are available and they are very anatomically correct.  You may want to discuss this with your class before letting them loose on the computers.  To see the Body Maps website click here.

You can go to his site by clicking here.  You can also read the article about this course by clicking here.

With Halloween around the corner I thought this site would be appropriate for Geography or Film study students and teachers.  Each map is broken down by decade.  It shows where each of the horror films took place on the map of the world.  Take a look by clicking here.

Google Arts and Culture

On March 28 2013 I posted about Google Arts Project.  To see that post click here.  Mr E. was in the library the other day with his class and I saw that he was looking at the Palace of Versaille and I noticed that my link to Google Arts Project now brings you to the Google Arts and Culture site.  Wow is it much better.  There a ton of museums and places you can go using Street View.  You can go to the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History, The White House and of course the Palace of Versaille.   To search around go to Google Arts and Culture by clicking here.  Either go down to some of the Virtual Tours or go to the Search box in the top right hand corner and pick a museum you would like to visit.  If they are partnered with that museum they will have pictures of some of there works and they may have a circular picture with the word Explore underneath.  Click on this and you can roam around the museum.  For example the Field museum in Chicago is shown below.
